We are seeking a Business and Care manager for this aged care facility in Palmerston North.

As the title suggests you have overall responsibility for both the business and the provision of care, and are lucky in this facility and service to have a really skilled Clinical Manager (Registered Nurse).

To be a Business and Care Manager in the aged care sector requires both professional skills and expertise and also a true empathy and desire to make a difference in other people's lives.

Some of the key functions of this role are:

• Overall responsibility and 'ownership' of the business and services
• Business and service operations and systems that meet certification, regulations, policies and legislation that applies
• Provision of quality services and cares that are responsive to the needs of the residents.
• Leadership, management and driving a culture of excellence with the multidisciplinary team.

And as such you will have:

• proven business/ service management of at least 3 years (this is not a role for someone without any relevant experience).
• Personal integrity and professional high standards.
• proven leadership of teams that is positive and successful.
