Senior Manager / Large Aged Care Facility

Medcall is working exclusively with one of our top clients who urgently needs a top level Manager to oversee total operations of this well-established village/ care facility.

Offering the full range of services, from independent living options to full hospital/rest home level care, this is not for the faint-hearted or inexperienced! But what a rewarding opportunity for someone in the industry, to bring their expertise and show what they’re made of!

Ideally starting at the end of Jan (flexible of course – they’ll wait for you if you’re a dynamo), you’ll be energized after the Christmas break and raring to go!

This is a fully operational role, overseeing:

• Site management (facility/ maintenance teams etc)
• Occupancy/ marketing/ ensuring excellent local profile
• Stakeholder engagement- DHB/ MOH/allied agencies
• Financial/ budget management and reporting
• Staff management
• A happy, focused and fulfilled workforce
• A reputation for excellence and compassion
• Outstanding Quality / audit / compliance to HDSS

And most importantly:

• Building an atmosphere of trust, where families see your site as the best option for their elderly loved ones, knowing they will receive the very best in care and live the best life they can!

You will need:

• Previous aged care management experience (ideally 5 years+)
• A clinical nursing qualification is preferred but not essential for the right person
• Amazing interpersonal skills: professionalism, warmth, sincerity and compassion
• The ability to problem solve, create solutions and manage a large workforce
• To be a strategic thinker and part of the larger management team

Offering a salary of $100-110K (plus bonus) for the right person, this is a highly sought after role which won’t last long!
